The winter protection starter set, consisting of our HaGa® winter protection fleece 60 g/m² and ground anchors without barbs , is actually excellent for protecting your plants from frost and cold during the cold season.

With a thickness of 60 g/m², the frost protection fleece offers extremely effective protection against frost and extreme weather conditions. In frosty conditions, a protective layer of ice forms as the resulting dew layer freezes onto the frost protection fleece. This layer of ice prevents the loss of soil heat, leading to higher temperatures beneath the protective fleece and thus protecting your plants from freezing temperatures.

It also provides protection from adverse weather conditions such as wind, hail, wild animals, and pest infestation. So you can be sure your plants will stay safe and healthy throughout the winter.

The versatility of the winter protection fleece allows it to be used both to cover flowerbeds and to wrap potted plants. Furthermore, the included barbless ground anchors are extremely easy to install and can be easily removed if necessary.

Application

The application of garden fleece is very simple:

• Simply place the fleece loosely on the plants and weigh it down at the edges with soil, stones or secure it with ground anchors.
• Cover the potted plants with frost protection fleece 1-2 and fix the fleece at the top and bottom with a string or wire.
