The material used for the bird protection net is lightweight, weather-resistant, and extremely tear-resistant HDPE (high-density polyethylene). You can use it for several seasons without any problems. The mesh is small and smooth, preventing birds from getting their claws or heads caught in it – leaving the hungry singers unharmed, as well as your fruit and vegetables. Areas of application:
Our bird netting is wonderfully versatile. It can be used to protect your fruit trees – from small cherry trees to enormous apple trees. Place the netting over the crown and wrap it around the trunk. If the branches hang very low, you can also secure it to the ground with ground anchors. Especially with young trees, you should also protect the trunk with a tree cover to prevent certain deer and other bark-loving creatures from damaging it.
You can also cover fruit and vegetable beds with the lightweight bird netting and secure it with ground anchors to protect against storms. You can also do this with freshly sown seeds to prevent birds from pecking the tasty seeds out of the soil. Larger plants, on the other hand, can be wrapped individually. If it's wasps nibbling on your strawberries or constantly visiting your kitchen, use a finer insect netting.
Our netting also protects your fish in your lovingly landscaped garden pond from birds and other predators—or your house and other buildings from the hordes of pigeons that like to perch on them. We're sure you can think of many other useful uses.
By the way: You can protect your beds underground with vole traps and garden fleece – this way neither weeds nor unwanted root gnawers can harm your plants!
