Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best privacy screen for the garden?

The best privacy screen depends on your individual needs. Privacy screen nets like the HaGa® fence screens are popular, as they offer a cost-effective, flexible and durable solution. Alternatively, you can also utilise wooden or metal fences, hedges or plant walls as a privacy screen.

How high can the privacy screen be on the balcony?

The height of a privacy screen on a balcony varies depending on regional building regulations and the agreement with the property management. Generally, in Germany, a privacy screen height of up to 1.80 meters is permitted, provided they do not significantly alter the appearance of the building or disturb other tenants.
Application

  1. Cut the fence panel to the required size using sharp scissors or a knife.
  2. Make sure the cut edges are clean and straight to ensure easy attachment.
  3. Make sure you have suitable fastening materials such as cable ties, wire, hooks or clips on hand (these can also be purchased in our shop).
  4. Position the privacy screen so that the fixing holes at the top, middle and bottom edges are correctly aligned.
  5. Use the holes to secure the privacy screen to the designated points using cable ties, special clips, or wire. Start at a corner and work your way around the edges to ensure the screen is evenly and securely attached.
  6. To keep the fence panel stable, ensure the attachment points are evenly spaced and there are no wrinkles. Tighten the cable ties or wire firmly, but not too tightly, to avoid damaging the mesh.
